For me that is easy. I would meet Eden Hazard. Yet again another football related blog post but oh well. Eden Hazard is my idol. He is a professional footballer who plays for Chelsea FC and Belgium. He has amazed worldwide football fans with his amazing dribbling and shooting skills becoming one of the world's best footballers. He plays in the same positions and is everything I want to be in a footballer. He has played 284 matches for Chelsea and Lille and scored 77 goals getting many more assists. What would I say? I would say “What advice would you give me as an aspiring footballer whose dream is to play professional football for his country?” I would personally hope that he would say something more than the usual sort of generic thing like make sure that you work hard and always keep your eye on your goal etc. I would also ask how he got noticed in football because all professional footballers have to get noticed in some way whether it be youtube or a talent scout or a youth academy etc. I would ask one more thing and that would be “How much football do you play every week?” At the moment I play about 6 hours a week of football in my free time and a further 2 hours of training + My one hour game every single week, this is a combined 9 hours of football per week. I would expect a Professional footballer to do about 17-18 hours of football a week but that is also because they don’t go to school.
